Corrective Action Mechanism

Action Items

As part of FRACAS it may be necessary to convene a meeting to review identified patterns and, where necessary, initiate investigations. These reviews are typically known as Failure Review Boards (FRBs) and are often convened at monthly or quarterly intervals. However, because pattern identification is data driven it is often more convenient (and more efficient) to convene FRBs when trends or patterns have been identified by the system. A generic FRACAS process therefore assumes FRBs will be convened when the system identifies suitable events warranting such a review.
